I first encountered Nanowrimo in 2005, or was it 2004? I tentatively pondered trying, but never got my feet off the ground until 2006.

In 2006 I had my first try, and a reasonably start until I concluded that my idea was too big a challange, and a combination of "writer's block", lack of time and lack of motivation, called and end to that attempt.

I came to 2007 late, with very little time to plan and prepare characters and a plot.... still no success with completing a story. Combining factors of too busy, too distracted, too little preperation and too little motivation caused this to not get moving. Again I will keep hold of idea and come back to it, i think the idea was sound, but the lack of prep. made it hade to string the idea together.
